The following general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter, “General Conditions”) govern the purchase of products remotely, available via the internet, from the website www.orodelsalento.com (hereinafter, the “Site”) in accordance with legislative decree 206/2005 and subsequent amendments and integrations (hereinafter, “Consumer Code”).
The owner and seller of the site is: Soc.Agr. Oro del Salento srl, with legal headquarters in via Sant’ Antonio 60, VAT number 02815611203, email: info@orodelsalento.com (hereinafter www.orodelsalento.com)
The consumer, when accessing the site to make purchases (hereinafter Customer), is required in sending the order to carefully and meticulously read these General Conditions, which will be available on the site at any time, as well as on the link sent in the order confirmation email and/or in a subsequent ad hoc email.
Every contract concluded with Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl, through the site, is regulated by these General Conditions. The language available for concluding the contract is Italian.
The products for sale on the site (hereinafter Product or Products) are listed on dedicated pages, where their characteristics and prices are described. The visual representation of the products normally corresponds to the photographic image, which has the sole purpose of presenting them for sale and may not be perfectly representative and differ in color, size, etc. from the actual product.
In case of discrepancy between the photographic image and the technical sheet, the technical sheet prevails. The prices specified per weight are expressed in euros.
To purchase the product, the Customer must send the electronic purchase form following the instructions on the site; add products to the cart, review and confirm these general conditions and the privacy policy; enter shipping details; choose the payment method and confirm the order.
The order confirmation is considered a contractual proposal, and the customer acknowledges and declares full understanding and acceptance of the
General Conditions, privacy policy, and any other information provided by the Site during the order phase.
The contract is concluded at the moment of order acceptance by Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl, which will be communicated via an order confirmation email, containing a link where these general conditions are reproduced, downloadable, and storable.
The order confirmation email aims to summarize the list of purchased products, order number, shipping costs, and all information regarding the order.
If the Customer finds errors or imperfections, they have 12 hours to inform Soc.Agr. Oro del Salento srl through the designated channels identifiable on the site (email and phone). After 12 hours, the order will be processed and shipped.
Upon receiving the order, Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl will verify the availability of the ordered products. If one or more products are not available, the seller (Oro del Salento) will notify the customer via email, who has 12 hours to confirm or cancel the order. If the Customer confirms the order despite unavailable products, the corresponding amount for these products will be refunded via Paypal (the only payment method) to their balance. Soc.Agr. Oro del Salento srl informs that the refund occurs only to the customer’s Paypal balance/account.
After 12 hours from the notification by Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl of unavailable products to the Customer, and if the Customer has not confirmed or canceled, Soc. Agr.Oro del Salento srl will consider the order accepted by the Customer for the available products, which will be shipped in the expected time frame. The refund of the amount equal to the cost of the unavailable products will be made via Paypal (see above).
Shipping costs are calculated directly during the order phase, based on indisputable criteria established by Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl, which during the order and purchase phase are made known, accepted, and confirmed by the customer; as well as stated in the order confirmation email and/or the immediately following email.
Currently, the only payment method is Paypal. Once the order is confirmed, the Customer will be redirected to the Paypal site to complete the payment, or after completing the order, a Paypal payment request will be sent to the Customer’s email used for site registration.
Other types of payment are to be agreed directly with the administration.
Orders are normally processed accompanied by an invoice inside the shipment. The Customer, a VAT holder, must communicate all data via email, to which they will receive the invoice. The Customer
is responsible for the accuracy of the data sent via email.
For the purchase of wholesale products or from resellers, it is necessary to contact the administration directly at email: info@orodelsalento.com
Products will be delivered to the address indicated by the Customer during the order process via express courier (hereinafter Courier) from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, national holidays, and vacations. The courier will make two delivery attempts to the indicated address. After two attempts, the package will go into storage at the competent branch, where the customer is required to collect their shipment or to book the redelivery of the package, paying the redelivery service according to the courier’s rates.
Soc.Agr. Oro del Salento srl is not responsible for delays by the courier not attributable to it, nor for damages caused during delivery. The goods do not travel insured; the insurance service costs 6 euros and must be requested directly from the administration at the time of order confirmation by the customer. The customer undertakes to sign with reservation at the time of delivery by the SDA courier.
Other accessory services, such as delivery by appointment or to the floor, are to be agreed from time to time with Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl, which will communicate the additional tariff to be applied.
Normal delivery times do not exceed 10 days. The choice of courier is decided by Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl, based on its internal needs; while tracking of the shipment is provided upon request of the Customer by the administration. The same principle of choice applies to shipments in Europe.
The customer has no right to withdraw from the contract, nor to return the received goods.
The customer forfeits this right if they do not report the lack of conformity within 2 days from the delivery of the product.
In the case of products subject to such non-conformity, which by their nature and maintenance are perishable or have a short expiration date, the communication of non-conformity must be made within and no later than 7 days.
The information contained on the Site is constantly updated.
In case of error, Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl cannot be held responsible, except in the case of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
In the case of errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl reserves the right to modify and correct this information even after an order has been sent, without prejudice to the Customer’s rights under the Consumer Code.
The Customer unreservedly accepts that, except in the case of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, any right to compensation for damages, or the recognition of compensation, as well as any contractual or extra-contractual liability for direct or indirect damages to people and/or things, caused by the non-acceptance or partial fulfillment of an order, is excluded.

The sales contract between Soc.Agr.Oro del Salento srl and the Customer is considered concluded in Italy and governed by Italian law.
For the resolution of disputes relating to the interpretation, execution, or termination of these General Conditions or individual orders, if the Customer is a consumer under the Consumer Code, the court of their municipality of residence or domicile, if located in Italy, is competent. Otherwise, the only competent court exclusively is the Court of Lecce.
Pursuant to art. 1341 c.c. the Customer declares to have read and accepted without reservation,
in every part, these General Conditions.
